Exploring Asteroids in Astrology - A Deeper Layer in the Soul's Journey
Asteroids of Interest when researching significant events through the lens of astrology transits.

For almost 18 months now, I have been working with asteroids in astrology. What began as an idle curiosity sparked by an asteroid named “Angel” has led me down a rabbit hole of research - one that has uncovered some surprisingly compelling evidence.
There is something deeply mystical about the archetypal journey of astrology, and about the haunting, sometimes profound accuracy that can emerge when these symbols are explored more deeply.
I will be posting more on this in the future. I am a fan of providing the evidence, but these are time-consuming posts and the research takes time. In the meantime, I am providing the main list of asteroids I have been working with. It is not yet a comprehensive list, but it is a great place to start.
Seeing where an asteroid like Echo (ancestral and karmic patterns) Alkeste (selfless sacrifice) or Telephus (exile and abandonment) falls in the birth chart adds an incredible layer of information to the Soul’s journey through the lens of astrology and understanding your deeper spiritual ancestry. Then, seeing these asteroids - and their conjunctions - activated during pivotal and momentous events in a person’s life is simply profound.

In the end, it appears that the asteroids function like energetic triggers—almost like the delicate pluck of a harp string, sending a deep reverberation through your life. In the case of Asteroid Angel, they may even speak to divine protection at crucial moments. Though smaller and quicker-moving, these asteroids can be profound in the way they illuminate and emphasize the Soul’s journey.
An example of the current research: In current astrological circles, the discussion around Asteroid Telephus is that this asteroid is associated with “telepathy.” However, in studying Telephus through a number of birth charts and event transits - and keeping the mythology of Telephus at the center of the interpretation - I dispute this simplified definition.
While I agree there may be a telepathic resonance with certain people or events, Asteroid Telephus has revealed itself to be much more akin to the Centaur Chiron, known as the wounded healer and teacher.
Asteroid Telephus reveals a place of wounding, of experiencing exile or abandonment. This can be the exile or abandonment experienced after the death of a loved one, or being cast out from the family for pursuing a life direction or love interest that the family does not approve of.
In a birth chart, Asteroid Telephus seems to indicate a sensitive point where a deep wound continues to echo from the past. But unlike Chiron - who could never heal his own wound and therefore became a teacher and healer to others - in keeping with the mythology of Telephus, there appears to be an opportunity to face the wound and heal it.
And perhaps this is the deeper story of Telephus: the thing that wounded you may also contain the key to your healing.
A Snippet on the Mythology of Telephus Telephus was born to Heracles and Augue. He was born as a demi-God and of both divine lineage and human struggle. Telephus had a difficult early story, abandoned at birth, his infancy and childhood is one of rejection and exile and woundedness. There are even versions of the myth saying he was nurtured in the wild by a deer.
In later years, Telephus was wounded by Achilles spear during a Greek raid. The wound was incurable until an oracle revealed he could only be healed by Achilles or the shavings from the spear that had wounded him. Through these trials and ordeals, Telephus eventually became King of Mysia and eventually, upon being healed by confronting that which wounded him, he guided the Greeks to Troy.

In the end, it appears that the asteroids function much like energetic triggers - or, in the case of Asteroid Angel, as indicators of divine protection at crucial moments. While they are smaller and generally quicker-moving, their symbolism can be profound, bringing a remarkable emphasis and layer to the Soul’s journey.

A client once spoke of a life-threatening health emergency - and mentioned that one of her greatest challenges during this time was losing her independence. She was a very organized and independent person so it caused great grief to have to rely on others for even her most basic needs.
Later, while working with her chart, one particular planet kept standing out to me intuitively. I wasn’t sure why at first as nothing appeared "out of place" or poorly aspected. Then I was inspired to look at the Arabic Lots, also known as the Parts - and there it was: her Transiting Saturn sitting EXACTLY on the “Part of Dependence.”
The symbolism was extraordinary! This was not simply about losing her independence; it spoke to a deeper lesson in her Soul’s journey - to learn to share the work and the burdens, to receive support from others, and to surrender the need to be in control all of the time.
You cannot even make this up...

Asteroid Angel 11911 Divine messenger, spiritual guidance and celestial protection, synchronicity - conjunctions to personal planets indicating enhanced spiritual guidance and support. Powerful in transits.
Asteroid Telephus 5264 A place of early spiritual, emotional, or physical exile, abandonment, often indicative of past lives but showing the echo in current life. Initiation through ordeal, the sacred wound that is healed by confronting what wounded you - Spiritual connection, mental connection and telepathic sensitivity in synastry charts. The astrological house and theme indicates where intuition or telepathic abilities are most active. VERY similar to Chiron but you confront what wounded you to heal.
Asteroid Alkeste 124 : The place where you sacrifice, your selfless devotion. The place where you give yourself away - but also where you have the opportunity to surrender an old form of self, enter the underworld and return transformed.
Asteroid Echo 60 Where you experience ancestral or karmic reverberation/resonance. Example: in family patterns or relationships. The imprint. Where you might have given your “voice” away. The “echo” (resonance) of an old wound from the past or from past lives found in the present life.
Asteroid Delphine 3218 : Wisdom and prophecy, protection and renewal. Several variations of this in the asteroids but this one has consistently aligned every time I test it. (Resonates with the Oracle of Delphi )
Asteroid Psyche 16 Psyche is seen as the Soul. Where the Soul becomes “conscious” and undergoes transformation. Vulnerability and inner identity. Initiatory. Sacrificing what is known to transform and transcend. Delphine was referring to "the woman from Delphi" and shows an intriguing alignment and function in charts that are akin to the "Oracle of Delphi"
Asteroid Iris 7 Messenger of the Gods - Symbolic of connection between low and higher realms, delivering messages from the Gods to the mortals - Bridge between higher conscious and subconscious, psychic sensitivity and intuitive clarity, spiritual intelligence, *mediumship - Iris can indicate where you are a mediator or serve as a messenger and how you harmonize with others
Asteroid Kaali 4227 Shakti. Destruction and creation, liberation from ego, kundalini awakening, shaping reality, raw power, sacred rage, indicates an area of life where you undergo deep profound change and transformation. Something powerful that arrives from outside the ordinary structure.
Asteroid Bahner 2358 The old German world for “the path”, “the way”, indicating the path in life, the way through - think of the German highway “The Autobahn” leading you on “the way”
*Asteroid Isis 42 Known for reuniting and restoring Osiris. Sacred wisdom, gnosis. Integration, devotion, regeneration, spiritual magic.The great mother. Healing and integration of the fragmented self. Transformation through devotion and love and how you use these to unify. Significant in large life and relationship events. Together, transit conjoined with Osiris, sacred union and soul partnership.
*Asteroid Osiris 1923 Death & rebirth, spiritual renewal, resurrection. Death of the God/initiate. The house and theme indicate where powerful transformations (Osiris dismembered) are taking place, the sign indicates your approach. Your legacy. This is showing an importance in events, particularly pivotal in large life and relationship oriented. Together, transit conjoined with Isis, sacred union and soul partnership.
There are several more asteroids to be added yet that I have started to investigate - but the above are showing some consistency, and in some circumstance, stunning evidence to their celestial mission.
