Asteroid Angel: Evidence of Asteroids in Astrology in Real Life Events - Part 3

When you discover the Asteroids were aligned in a real-life out-of-the-norm event - or did 2 Old Souls agree to a meet-up?
I write these astrology research events in posts on Substack but thought I might share them here as well. We all have those moments in life where something so unusual happens, that we are left wondering "What was that?"
First the back story to the event - it is a convoluted story of multiple small happenings leading to a single bigger event.
It is all true and I am telling it in full so you will see how this very odd 24 hour period of spontaneous “coincidences” led to a fated/destined meeting of two strangers and some interesting astrological alignments that accompanied the event.
I am not sure why I research things the way I do … it just seems to be the way I am wired. I recall distinct dates, usually when an experience or event is so out of the normal that I make a mental note thinking it might be of interest to me again someday — And this date, a full 17 years later, turned out to be useful when seeking out placements of specific asteroids, particularly my recent investigation of the Asteroid Angel.
I also want to share this because so many times in life we all have these kind of unusual events happen, these unique moments that we might shrug it off as happen-stance …
But I am discovering in these most recent years that these unusual events are indeed so much more … especially when seen through the lens of astrology.
This incident happened in 2008 — I sense it might be my Mercury in 12th house Scorpio that encourages me to make a mental note in my mind until I have the potential opportunity to reflect or follow it up. But follow it up with what? I had no idea … a potential journal entry or … whatever that was, I remembered the date and consulted the July 2008 calendar today as I wrote this to double check.
The store manager had walked up to me on that Thursday and asked me if I’d like to be off the next day, Friday the 25th, 2008 - Since this was HIS day off usually, and I was his 2nd-in-command, I was surprised - but I had a few extra earned-time-off days coming to me, so I suspect he gave it to me as a treat - a 3 day weekend in July. I tended to plenty in his absences while he burned off his banked holidays prior to retirement, and he always treated me well.
But I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It was just a random extra day off - And on a Friday! And in July! And it just happened to be a “The Taste of My City” a huge restaurant and food sampling event in my city.
My daughter was overseas in Afghanistan, and it had been a year of sleepless nights and long dragging days with little joy. During that same time, my son was in another province, working at a remote resort.
That same Thursday night, my son had contacted me from the resort because he couldn't make it into the nearest town to pay his credit card payment that was coming due by Monday. Could I spot him the payment and hit his bank? Would I be able to do so before the weekend ended? I literally had just been given that next day off so it worked out perfectly!
…I recognize this story is sounding convoluted and long - but I assure you it is true and this is the way it unrolled and how I ended up being where I was in the very moment that the event in question went down.
Now, normally, I would have just went to the mall that was closest to home to make his payment, only a few kilometers away - but because it was a special day off and there was a big event going on in the city center, I decided to see if I could do this payment at the same time as the event I was going to in the city.
I looked it up and the head branch for his bank was right there beside the event I was going to… Perfect!! I could go to the city center, make the credit card payment in my son’s stead and go to this food festival event!
My then-partner and I decided to take the bus and a light rail transit into town as parking would be hard to get and at a premium. We walked several blocks to the bus stop, when I suddenly realized I had forgotten the paper with my son's account number and other pertinent information to make the payment.
We went several blocks back to my house, now missing the bus that was about to come. I grabbed the paper and we headed back to the bus stop, and sure enough the bus had been and gone, and we waited another 15 minutes for the next one, finally made it to the Light Rail Transit station, and headed down into the city.
The day got off to a bit of a slow and rocky start but we were finally downtown at the stroke of noon on a Friday. I was excited, I rarely went to any events, especially in the city center. It was busy and bustling.
The bank was steps away from the event so my partner decided to stand outside on the sidewalk and wait while I went into the bank to make my son’s payment. And being noon on a midsummer Friday in 2008, I was greeted by immense lineups everywhere that I looked, as it was the main central banking branch. It could not have been busier…
I surveyed which lineup to get into, and decided upon the customer service lineup as I was not a patron of that bank. When I finally got to the counter, I was told that no, I needed to join one of the even longer lineups at the tellers - and they were loooong. Back in the day - people still went to the bank to do their business unlike everyone doing things online today.
I sighed and joined one of the long lineups and started waiting my turn.
There was only 4-5 tellers open, lots of roped off pathways channeling us to where we needed to go. But as I stood, a sudden movement caught my eye in my periphery — and as I turned my head, I saw a man in his mid-to-late 60’s who, with legs locked, literally stiffened and fell straight backwards onto the stone floor. He had passed out in the July heat …
His head hit the floor with a sickening thud. I can still remember that sound to this day. It echoed in the cavernous room and I remember the room going silent.
And nobody moved...
It was like time slowed for a moment. Everybody waiting to see who was going to respond first.
A few seconds passed and I bolted, scooting clumsily under and around the velvet rope dividers. As I got to his side, he had blood starting to pool under his head. His bank teller was up on her toes craning over the counter, wide eyed in horror. She was young, probably about 20 or 22, she looked in shock.
He was momentarily unconscious. I asked the employee to call the ambulance for a traumatic head injury. I knew I couldn't move him. I was concerned about whether or not he was breathing first, but his eyelids started fluttering as I spoke (and whatever else I was doing - things were jumbled… Is he breathing, are there any other apparent injuries etc etc. Had he had a heart attack? Did he faint? … That kind of thing)
He was starting to wobble back to consciousness, trying to raise his hand to his head so I was gently instructing him that he was not to move at all. And so I hovered over his face, gently, talking in a soothing voice … he’d had a fall, what was his name, did he take medication, had he taken some that day…
And interestingly, I had different questions coming to me in that moment as I had just happened to have taken a recent First Aid refresher course not even 10 days prior.
The ambulance was taking awhile due to heavy traffic in the center of the city on a midday Friday - I remember checking with the teller again if they had been called …
No one else in the bank came to assist … There were easily multiple dozens of people within that large room. I looked over my shoulder briefly — People were watching or banking, but nobody else came.
And then finally, after a number of minutes, two security guards came rushing in from elsewhere, and I asked one to stay at his head, making sure he didn't move. The other one went to his feet, and I just sat speaking to the man gently like we do when we know someone is badly hurt. Laurence was his name… they called him “Laurie” he said.

It seemed like the three of us sat there for a bit around Laurie, what started to feel like an eternity to me as the blood had pooled beneath his head and now looked sticky - and then finally, the ambulance arrived, the medics were in attendance.
I gave them the information that I had collected and moved away.
I had been in the bank quite a while now and I watched them eventually wheel Laurie away.
The bank was still so busy, and I looked back and realized I had to get back into that long lineup. But as I went to join the line, the customer at the front and the teller motioned me forward, and so I went to the front of the line, and thanks to their kindness, made the payment for my son quickly and left.
The security guards and bank manager caught up to me as I walked through the pedestrian way in the mall and we exchanged conversation and handshakes for a few minutes and I was on my way.
My partner was still standing outside, and met me with “Well, it took you long enough!” I promptly replied “Didn't you see the ambulance??”
I related the story back to him as we walked into the festival, but to this day I don’t think he entirely believed me in those first moments — Until we got inside the food festival, and this man in a suit immediately rushed up, “Oh my God, You were amazing! I was there, I saw you with that man!”
My then-partner was suddenly realizing that something really did happen as this man was shaking my hand so enthusiastically. A few other people at the festival recognized me, greeting me … it was a strange moment for me …
Let’s be honest - I could not actually do anything for Laurie - beyond just being with him and keeping him calm and still as he regained consciousness and waited for the ambulance … but the strange turn of events that day kept returning to my mind.
I reflected how I had suddenly got the unexpected Friday off - that my son needed me to make the payment at the last minute, how it had aligned for me to be at that bank downtown because of the unexpected opportunity to go to the festival, how I had forgotten the paper with the account number, which led to the missed bus, and then the later arrival downtown at the stroke of noon - I turned it over in my mind many times in the weeks to come …
If I had not been there, there was not a shadow of a doubt that someone would have stepped forward. So - what in this vast Cosmos of the Divine had aligned that I was to meet Laurie that day?? What was the purpose for our paths to cross like this …
I pondered if I was over-thinking it or if maybe it was some sort of a divine test - but for me. I am not someone who believes in coincidences or accidents. I have long suspected over decades that there is far more to these unexpected events in our lives than meets the eye.
Now with my extended learning in different methods of astrology and transits, I go back in time to revisit these events again.
(Please see the chart at the bottom of this post.)
And it turned out to be more than I expected - Enter Asteroid Angel - again.
First : Transit Venus ( what you value) on my Natal Asteroid Angel ( Divine guidance and assistance) at 15 degrees midpoint Leo (leadership) in the 9th house (higher mind and learning)
2nd : Transiting Asteroid Angel was sitting directly conjunct on my Natal Venus at 9 degrees Libra ( interpersonal relations) in the 11th house of friends, groups, events.
Asteroid Angel and my ruling personal planet Venus were literally sitting together in exact conjunction opposite each other in both houses. These two houses, the 9th and the 11th, were a loose sextile to each other as well.
Next, Transiting Jupiter at 15 degrees midpoint Capricorn in the 2nd House. 15 degree midpoint Capricorn - It was just quite recently that I realized that there is a pattern to this 15th degree, that it has been showing up consistently in these more unusual or mystic experiences as I research them - And it gives me an initiatory sense when I see it in all of these charts, like some sort of a evolutionary test.
Yet in saying test, that term does not feel good or bad, right or wrong, pass or fail — but rather, neutral. You are being given a choice or experience, period. Jupiter on the 15th degree of Capricorn, expansive energy inviting me take action?
And then, my transit Sun was sitting less than a degree away, conjunct my Natal Jupiter in 9th House Leo.
Transit Iris ( intuitive sensitivity and bridge between higher and lower realms ) was one degree away, conjunct my Natal Sun in 11th House Libra. And my transit South Node ( past lives, past experiences and the tool box of skills and unresolved challenges) was conjunct Natal Asteroid Iris (Intuitive messenger of the Gods, bridging the divide between realms)
(Note: I do not consider anything a true conjunction unless 2 degrees or less)
Finally, Transit Uranus - the liberator and overseer of sudden events - exactly conjunct my Natal Chiron (the wounded healer) at 22 degrees Pisces in the 4th house.
I was now distinctly realizing from looking at this chart that it might not have been me helping Laurie - but that Laurie was helping me in the most unexpected way — possibly to resolve an old Soul wound, likely around stepping up, stepping forward, confidence and communication.
I never saw Laurie again - I hoped to hear back somehow that he was okay but there was little else I could do. I just prayed all worked out well for him.
Upon researching this event 17 years later to see what it might show, seeing the stand-out of Asteroid Angel ( both natal and transiting in 2 placements) and both conjunct my personal planet and transiting Venus.
Next, Asteroid Iris, both natal and in transit interacting with my transiting South Node and my Natal Sun.
Jupiter on the midpoint of get-down-to-business Capricorn and of course, Uranus - that ever-loving Lord of Chaos sitting on the sensitive Chiron wound and reserved Saturn ( some call Saturn the Lord of Karma) in 4th House Pisces of compassion.
There is always more there than meets the eye — and while there are other planetary players and alignments in the chart, these were the ones that spoke to me most directly.
I’d be interested in your thoughts or observations …
And a small final story - 2 weeks later I was off to get my hair cut at the nearest mall to my home, and went to use the bank machine that belongs to the very same institution as the earlier event. I waited for my money to pop out, and it did - but it kept going! It must have counted an extra 100-120 before a bill jammed and it stopped. Seriously - Hahaha!!
You just can’t make this stuff up.
I waited at the machine till I could flag a customer coming out of the bank branch as it was about 20+ feet further down the hall - an employee came, counted out what was my actual withdrawal and proceeded to put the machine out of order.
I have laughed over these years - that the banking institution was trying to “tip'“ me … the synchronicity of it being the same banking institution had me laughing.
This day was not an earth-shaking event — but an interesting and rather lengthy series of small events over 24 hours culminating with being in the city center and meeting Laurie on that hot July day ... And 17 years later it appears for reasons likely unknown to both of us, it was divinely aligned.
I believe the threads of the Divine are found in astrology - that whatever the challenge that we face, there are no accidents and no coincidences ...
Were we two old Soul’s from another time and place who had agreed to bump into each other?
Thank you for sharing your time with me. Big blessings, Julie
