A Past Life Regression (that Also Showed up Later in the Astrology)

In an earlier blog post here, I mentioned that I found some correlations between earlier past life regressions dating back to 2016-2018 and later, when working in Esoteric Astrology, suddenly realizing I could see those very past life regressions through clients charts...

Please note the astrology references are highly abbreviated due to this being a blog post and not an actual astrology chart.

To give a small example of this - I had a client back in 2016 who I did a session for - and in that particular session they saw a life of being a teenage girl in Africa.

In our hypnosis induction, the client went to a beautiful place, she was peaceful, surrounded by yellow grasses, rocky steep slopes, small shrubs and a an immense beautiful waterfall.

We kept on with the rest of the induction and then as she drifted down into that past life, she again emerged into that same beautiful place that she had described earlier. She described this exact scene again as rocky, patches of yellow grasses, small shrubs and vegetation, cool misty breezes and the very large waterfall (and later in the session she suddenly identified this as Victoria Falls, Africa)

( "Interesting," I thought ... "this must be a very important place - for her to have seen it twice at the earliest stages of the induction..." )

She emerged into that past life as a very tall slim girl, probably 5'8" or taller - a contrast to her current short stature of 5' 0" in this current life.

She was a young woman of 17 or so. She wore a cloth shift and thin sandals, and wore a necklace made of polished stones. We also "met" her younger brother of about 10 in that past life.

He was a handsome boy that she loved dearly - though he was also annoying and rambunctious in that way 10 yr old boys can sometimes be ...

He was company during her long repetitive days alone of completing endless chores, on occasion he helped with some of the tasks as well. She described him with such a photographic clarity I felt I could see him in my own mind's eye.

She knew intuitively that they ate a great deal of dried meat. There was a porridge bubbling away that she thought might be cornmeal.

Her life was a very simple one and an endless list of chores and tasks to be tended to, firewood to be gathered, water to be fetched, cooking, looking after the nuisance of a little brother...

There did not appear to be too many big events in the life of someone so young though we did see an interesting ceremony involving the whole village and an elephant that she was fixated on that was painted and draped in colorful cloth or rugs, paraded through for an important ceremony. And for a child of a small village, that would have indeed been a memorable day.

She was resentful of the incessant heat - "I can taste the hot" she said grudgingly.

In this past life, on a rare day off, if the chores were finished early, she and her younger brother would occasionally sneak off and explore the waterfall - though it was strongly forbidden. It was a bit of a distance to get there but they often had to walk quite a distance to gather things anyhow.

They were never supposed to go to the falls on their own - but sometimes recklessness and curiosity would take over. She later realized this and said aloud that this was the famous Victoria Falls of Zimbabwe.

I had moved her to an important day in that past life, and "in it" she was urgently searching about.

"What are you looking for?" I asked.

"I don't know ... I feel scared though..."

"Do you sense you are searching for an object or a person?"

She suddenly realized it was her brother, she was searching for her brother - her brother was missing!

Where could he be?? She ran about the village and neighboring grounds looking, calling, inquiring ... with no luck.

She immediately suspected that he had gone to the falls.

Having grown up near the falls, the kids were taught to stay with the yellow grasses in the mistaken belief that the green grasses signaled that they were too close to the waterfalls edge. She scrambled about, climbing, clutching, calling and stumbling and looking for her brother ...

She felt she was on the drier yellow grass, so she was still safe as she ventured around shrubs and bushes, calling for him over the roar of the Falls and trying not to get too close to the edge - But her attention was distracted by trying to locate her brother - and she suddenly emerged from a group of shrubs and teetered on the edge of crumbling rock and loose soil ...

Her hand grasped back at a scrawny twig of a shrub to try and brace herself - and she teetered momentarily ... She felt herself lose her footing ...

Then suddenly she felt herself completely enveloped in the most beautiful warm welcoming light, feeling it completely embrace her ... there was peace and warmth and knowing ...

She never hit the water.

Looking back at that past life, this young girl from the past life felt like she had no purpose other than to care for her brother and others and do endless chores. It had been a little lonely, a great deal of toil, and as a teenage girl who wanted to explore life, she felt like she had not had opportunity.

Now the conversation with the Highest Self.

She quickly realized she had never been alone even though she felt she often was - a comforting thing as she became aware of her Spirit Guides. The Highest Self said that simplicity had been the desirable experience for the Soul to experience in that lifetime, connection with the people around her - and while the past life had not been an exciting one, per se, there had been festivals and gatherings, vibrancy and laughter, and of course - her family and her cherished little brother.

Her Highest Self however, was strong and straight to the point. She had jumped very quickly back into this current life to seize new opportunities and have new experiences... And most importantly, to finally explore herself.

Upon awakening from the session, she went onto Google Earth immediately and she zoomed in on the Victoria Falls. She was shocked to see in those moments that there were so many things so familiar, suddenly so recognizable to her - and it was amazing for me to witness her excitement.

The Zambia village of Mukuni is several kilometers away from Victoria Falls, and when she saw the pictures of this village for the first time, it raised the hairs on her arms - and mine.

The village and huts were identical in style - and the village layout was almost verbatim to what she had seen and described in such detail earlier during her session ... This particular village was also eerily the right proximity to the immense falls that she had spoken about, and along roads that suddenly looked so familiar.

I was captivated that if she did indeed reincarnate right away - she might well have a still living ( and now elder) sibling from another time and place still in that very village ( It is her choice to further explore!)

From the tiniest toddler she had been inexplicably drawn to everything about the music and culture of that region of Africa, particularly what was now recognized as the terrain of the Zambia region ... A very distinct contrast to the small Northern Ontario town that she was living in as a small child in this current life.

As a child in Northern Ontario, she did not have cable TV in those first few years when she was young - so it was a puzzle to those around her why she had gravitated to distinctly African themes. She often drew homes that resembled little huts, never giving it a second thought, but it had been perplexing to the adults around her at that time as she seemed to have no frame of reference for what was seen as a distant culture in those early days of the 1980's.

This young woman left her session with a sense of peace an joy - It seemed to be the recaptured remembrance of a time and place that had always felt like 'home' to her , that brought her the biggest joy and insight that she had craved.

So many times a culture, particular landscape, or food will resonate so strongly with someone without them ever understanding why - and in the case of this young woman - it was a memory fresh out of Africa.
